singleton and brassell are a "package deal" to the rebels. Kinda strange b/c I believe they are the same type of wr and would probably play the same position. The rebs will tell you they are thin at wr, but they have quite a few young recievers signed over the last two years (patpat is gone though). It wouldn't surprise me if they got both, they ended up moving brassell to corner. That is a guess though. Hopefully, we can get the big tackle. We need someone to replace Sherrod in the future.

for Madison Central and he attended the UM function in Jackson a couple of weeks ago with Tobias. He said Nutt was all over Tobias and never let him out of his sight! I think they are pretty tight, oh Bobby Hall made sure of that. Brassell is doing what 99% of S.P. players do for whatever reason, he is going to UM. With the way things have fallen for us this weekend I am not concerned. Singleton and Brassell are great players and I would love to have them but it ain't gonna happen. I think it is 50/50 on Morris. I think we will have the best recruiting year we havehad since the Jackie glory days (17 you Zena), I am excited about the future.

that brassell and singleton are the same type receiver and would probably play the same position? Strange that they play together b/c in Nutt's offense, there isn't a ton of catches to go around and these two along with Moncrief, makes for a crowd. Hell, all three are about the same size.

I have seen them play and there is no doubt. The only hope we have is that the "QB Killer" will work his magic which frankly I think he will. If that happens and Mullen can makes some things happen offensively then we have a shot atboth theseguys, outside of that we have no shot.

Glad to see we're keeping that LT position covered. It is vital to success. See MSU '06 and '07 when Brown was there, he vacated us due to the gun wielding incident and we sucked in '08. Wouldv'e given Sherrod another year to develop but he came along nicely in '09. Now Robinson has a year to get in gear while Sherrod's a senior. Hopefully Robinson will be ready to go a year early in '11.

Robinson has the measurables, but he has a lot to learn about what it takes to play LT in the SEC. He was successful in HS by just being huge. That's not going to cut it at this level.

I think Brassell is more of a slot guy, a Bumphis, McCluster type. Singleton and Moncrief both seem more like outside guys.

We'll probably get Pinkston too, along with Worth that we already have. Yes, that's a lot of WRs in one signing class, but you also have to remember that going into 2011, we will have 5 scholarship receivers (Logan, Grandy, Harris, Sanders, and Mireles) assuming Mireles makes it.

Usually you have about 10 on your roster, so there is a lot of chance for immediate playing time if you're a WR looking to sign with us this February.
