with ties to Arkansas, Wisconsin, and Ohio St he will be able to recruit some up and coming coaches or colleagues from his time at those schools looking for a change.
Wisconsin - he coached on teams that went 11-2, 11-2, and 8-6.
Arkansas - he coached on a team that went 3-9 with a loss to Rutgers and an OT loss to Miss St.
Ohio St - coached on last year's 1 loss National Champs and this year coached on a 1 loss team
Even with the bad Arkansas season he found work with Ohio St to be part of 2 great teams.
My guess is he may keep EJ barthel and maybe 1 coach (ie. Norries Wilson) for a year to help with the transition but bring in guys he knows elsewhere.
As a defensive guy with secondary coach experience he may be able to get us back to where we were when we were putting 2ndary guys in the NFL each year (ie. McCorty's, Logan Ryan, etc..).
He just needs a good offensive coach. Someone mentioned Applewhite. He would be a good get if he does not get a HC role elsewhere.
