But for today, I'm sure there will be more discussion of the idiotic move by Nunes yesterday. That was so stupid it deserves a lot more discussion. That was "one for the ages" (since the Masters is coming up).

He most likely catalyzed an independent investigation given that even Republicans can't defend his unethical behavior. How does the chairman of a committee charged with getting to the bottom of whether the President and all his men collaborated with the Russians, go to the subject of his investigation with new evidence? That would be like a police detective going to a suspect in a murder case and telling him that the police discovered that the murder weapon may have been lost by the police. It's unreal. Glad to see people like McCain calling for an independent bipartisan special committee. But this should be done by a special prosecutor. Where's Patrick Fitzgerald? He did a good job of convicting the dirty Bushies.

Yes, Fitzgerald did such a good job that he jailed someone who didn't leak the name to the media, and the person after the person who did leak it admitted it. That guy is splendid.
When it is clear that this never happened, you will turn your focus to something else and pretend you were never really this crazy.

Bush was completely innocent in the Valerie Plame investigation as was Cheney. Dave 1, history re-writing madman 0.
And that was a victory? And we all know Cheney was not innocent. Scooter took the fall for him. But regardless, obstruction of justice and perjury by a senior Presidential advisor and the Chief of Staff of the VP should hardly be a win. Unless you're you.
