We do not want SCar to finish ahead of UF in the above scenario, as we would lose the tie-breaker to Vandy. In short, if we go 2-1 against UK, UK takes the top spot.only if SCar loses 2 against LSU. If Scar wins 2, they take the crown if UK goes 1-2 against us. We would also need UF to take last 2 against Auburn. If UF lose 1, they will finish behind SCar, even if SCar goes 1-2 vs LSU.<div>
</div><div>So, we want SCar to get swept by LSU, and UF to sweep Auburn in order for us to own tie-breaker over Vandy.</div><div>
</div><div>If we sweep UK, UF sweeps Auburn and SCar loses 2 or more to LSU, then UF wins the SEC and we would lose any tie-breakers to Arky & OM if they also win out. Pull hard for UT to win 1 against Arky in this case, as the tie-breaker would then be head-to-head against OM. Would also want UGA to lose to Bama.</div><div>
</div><div>Bottom line, if we split the last 2 against UK, we need OM to also split and Arky to split or lose both remaining against UT, and would want UGA to lose out against Bama.</div><div>If we sweep UK, we need LSU to sweep SCar & OM to win the final 2 against Vandy. We'd also need Auburn to win the final 2 against UF.</div><div>
</div><div>If I've got this correct, we may be more likely to finish with a higher seed if we lose one to UK as opposed to sweeping them, as our tie-breaker advantages are best with UK as the champ. UF as champ or anywhere ahead of UK would be bad for us if Arky & OM finish tied with us.</div><div>
</div><div>Since I hate to hope for a loss, I'll say pull for the sweep of UK, Auburn taking last 2 from UF & LSU sweeping SCar or Arky losing at least 1 to UT. Then hope Bama takes at least 1 from UGA. That would make us the #5 seed. If UGA sweeps Bama, we'd be the #6.</div>
