So, who else let emotions get away from them last night?

After cussing like a sailor the last two minutes and all of OT, I went out on patio and turned over BBQ grill as I stormed by, then sat out in yard cooling off for about 20 minutes. I came back in laughing hysterically, and my wife said I had a serious problem and I needed medical help. I'm laughing at myself again as I type this. I dont know why I let a bunch of kids playing a game, get me so fired up.

I was pissed to see us lose a 17 point lead. I was pissed to see a bunch of awful decisions down the stretch like Moultrie continually putting the ball on the ground in the paint as he was doubleteamed, or Sidney being too busy looking fat to actually try on defense.
I was pissed that we just had our 2nd OT game in a row. I was pissed that we just lost our 2nd OT game in a row. I was pissed that we just lost our 2nd in a row to a bad program.

But i cant say i have ever damaged a grill and had to sit alone in my yard at 10:30 at night to calm down.

Perspective, look into it.

Not me. I turned off the tv before overtime and went to sleep. I've come to grips with the fact that Stansbury's teams will under achieve every year, and getting mad at the product does no good. The one staple of his early teams was defense and rebounding. After Xavier knocked us out of the NCAA with a 4 guard lineup you could see his strategy changing in his recruiting. We went small and stopped trying to get the ball inside. This year he's tried to go back to his old style but is failing. It's time.

If you are, you are a fool. It will lead to nothing buttourettes syndrome like outburst and dispair. I will disinvest myself until a replacement for Stans is found.

Don't get me wrong I will still watch the games but it will be on the same emotional level as watching two teams in the super bowl, both of which I couldn't give a **** about winning.

from the complete silence during the cluster 17 and then the quick dump of the remote onto the couch when it's time to shut it off. And shutting it off isn't always when the clock hits zero. Just the basic feeling of if they are going to drag their *** around then i'm going to drag my *** about supporting them. Don't take to twitter, facebook, or anything else and rally the fans to come support the team when it looks like there are 3 players on the floor at any given time that looks like they would rather be home watching tv. <div>
</div><div>It was a damn blessing that Direct TV lost the WCBI feed at my house at halftime of the GA game. </div>

I turned it off after we blew the 17 pt lead. Started watching Pawn Stars reruns. Much more exciting.

I didn't even watch the first half. I was watching the Griz. If I would've watched it I probably would've turned it off at the half.

Had about a 5 minute depression/cussing tirade and went to bed. After the Georgia game I finally realized this team won't achieve it's potential. I realized this game was lost at the end of regulation and went to bed directly after OT.

My wife complimented me on how I took it this morning. I have had to replace the TV twice before, I can't afford it any more. </p>

My wife actually gets more mad than I do at the games now. I just sit there, laugh, calmly talk about how ****** Stansbury is, and look forward to the day that we tell that mother 17'er syonara.

A huge shot was hit by Mizzou and a guy sitting with his wife and kids threw his beer mug down and shattered it everywhere. They of course were asked to leave. The look on his wife's face said volumes. I am thinking that he will not see her naked for a couple of years if ever again.

It just isn't that important folks.
