after that, I have no idea. My knowledge of hot college football coaches is pretty limited these days. Thanks, Sly.

Obviously at the top would be Tommy Tuberville. If Auburn is dumb enough to fire him, we should hire him immediately. His ego is so big, you know he'd love to go to a place he could stick it to Auburn every year. Especially if it's a school not known for being a traditional power. After that, I'd start with Graham at Tulsa. That's actually much more realistic than Ears. I'd also throw in Chris Hatcher and Lane Kiffin, although Kiffin probably belongs in the ultimate dream category with Ears. Regardless, we can easily attract a better coach than the one we have. Hell, me and two of my friends could coach this team to 6 wins. The only dumbass capable of Stating up this season was Crxxms.

next morning at a 10 O'clock at a press conference down there ,beat anything I've ever seen. If we hire that bastard , I'm through with MSU sports forever & I've been a MSU fan longer than 98.18% of you.

Exactly. Of all the folks who I DON"T want, Tubby is at the top of the list. We need somebody who is fresh, young and energetic.

You have no chance at all of hiring Tuberville. If he leaves Auburn under any circumstances there's a fifty-fifty chance he'd retire; if not, he probably goes to Clemson. Lane Kiffen will wind up at Washington. Not trying to flame or insult, but making a hire at MSU will be tough under the best circumstances; running off Croom with a lot of time on his contract will stretch your money and you'll be trying to lure someone in with the promise of short money to start and bigger money later IF the wins come in.

It is truly a mess and a complex one that you have to deal with.

seems like this would be the kind of step up a guy like him might take a chance on, money wise and conference wise. Sumbitch is winning with his 4th team QB. In other words, they have 4 QBs better than our starting QB. And they play defense pretty damn good.</p>

would be a good choice for us. We've put ourselves in a nothing-to-lose situation; take a chance on a rising assistant. Any proven HC is looking for something better than the situation is Starkville.

Will Muschamp. That guy loves his players and has already recruited in the area and coached in the SEC. I say we give him a shot....he wants an SEC job

I would love to have Charlie Strong. While we are in the Swamp, we might as well bring Dan Mullen with him. Two young and energetic coaches. That would be a win-win on the field and from a PR standpoint.

I'm finished with State for life.

There are so many better young HEAD COACHES than him. That have proven themselves. And won.

No more experiments.
