So who was the NAFOOMer bashing the #HailState endzone again?

Which was the point, so I'll concede it was successful from that standpoint. I just happen to find everything about Twitter annoying anyway. However some brand new award I've never heard of has no bearing on this. Who were the previous winners, witty Facebook posts? Seriously, is this a new thing? Can anyone reel off the top of heir head past champs?

Other college & pro sports teams have been hashtagging stuff on playing surfaces or close to it. At least I never noticed that until we did it first.

is what makes it easy to say you guys are pompous, snobby, too good to step out of the box that you think you fit in, and hanging on to the past.

Just sayin

We all can't base our reality shows around a the life of a trophy that was won by beating a 2-10 football team, so we had to do something. It's terrible, I know.

Twitter is dumb, and will be out of business if they don't actually come up with a business plan. They're losing about $100 million a year right now, and have no plans to turn it around. I work in IT, and actually build "clouds" for customers, so I'm quite up to speed on the current trends. Hell, we even have a "Social Media Team" just luckily I'm not on it. Just because I don't like one internet app doesn't mean I'm an old fogey typing on an Apple IIg. I also don't like FourSquare, or Google +, or a myriad of other fads.

Google Buzz, Google Wave, Google +.... Google actually makes more money off of Apple's IOS than their own Android. About 5X more. Which is kind of odd. They still know how to monetize search engines though. And selling your personal info if you use Gmail or Chrome.

Your AD does.

It's okay, though. I sarcastically applaud your determination to grace us with your admittedly unfounded cogitation.

I know that the younger generatrion all seem to have instagram. It gives instant feedback and "likes" which is what they seek. That is the one downside to twitter that I can see. You can't "like" someones tweet. RT is only option and that isn't enough to satisfy the me first generation.

Not to mention most people just don't go to instagram and surf. Instagram is basically photobucket for ****** cellphone pictures. <div>The bulk of its traffic comes from being linked to twitter accounts and FB. It needs FB and twitter to succeed.</div>

A billion dollars. Wow.

I heard instagram had 3 employees. Don't know if that part is true, but its possible. Surely they have a handful of contractors. What they do doesn't take much relatively speaking.

All this time I thought otherwise. Seriously though, I don't care in the slightest about Twitters or end zone paintings or social media awards. I honestly thought it was a pretty original idea. If the kid like it, go for it. My "determination" however comes from a day off and this board is for the most part more fun than Nafoom. Plus, I got my masters at State and it'sinterestingto keep up with what's going on in Starkville.
