...and there's no doubt that Relf had a great day Saturday. In fact, he had a higher percentage than Tyson, but threw for less yards, and they both completed a 19 yard pass that was their long. Also agree about Tyson and the deep ball. However, he was the second most accurate passer in the SEC last year behind a heisman trophy winner. If Relf throws for 70%, three touchdowns, and runs for 82 and a touchdown against Auburn, I'll agree with you. You can't conclude that Relf is a better passer than Lee based on one game against JSU. I think the coaches would tell you Lee is a better passer, and when Relf becomes a better passer, he'll take over. One thing that I think you can take from the game Saturday is that Mullen's offense needs a dual threat qb. Right now, we don't have one. We have one that can throw and one that can run. So they both play. Relf is going to have to throw enough to keep the defense honest, and Tyson will have to run enough to do the same.
Plus, Tyson is, by all accounts, a great leader, and he has a year of experience under his belt. He is less likely to make the killer mistake than Relf. I have absolutely no problem with both of them playing. In fact, I am in favor of it. I think it helps the team.
