Partial yes,

He'll work harder..harder than usual. May even get out of the cart once or twice. Problem is the mental aspect

Will it buy us more wins?
Maybe 1 or 2, esp w/new staff

I think he knows his days are numbered, he doesnt give a 17. He has made 6 million over the last 5 years and 1.7 million more next year. He will leave MSU (eventually) and go pick up a job in the NFL doing the same **** he has done over the last 17 years. And he will be perfectly content....wouldn't you?

if a head coaching position is somewhat of his dream job, & he has been told, next year is it unless you light up the SEC

Then we should have waxed Kentucky's *** this past weekend, providing something to build off of for next year

There is absolutely nothing to show next year will be any different than this year

...to raise the temperature of Croom's *** 1/10th of 1 degree. And that's not even counting the square footage of the *** nestled firmly atop his shoulders.

today than take a chance on him being here next year with a new OC that might win 4 or 5 and keep his worthless *** around another year

.....fire Crxxm and hire a proven winner we're still going to struggle in some capacity in 2009. Our offense isn't going to make a dramatic turnaround in one year, which is what we'll need from them to make up for the losses we're going to see on the defensive side of the ball. That's not to forget that we'll likely still suck on special teams because of a lack of good kickers. We also lose our top return man.

Another thing to consider is that the SEC is way down this year. I'm an SEC homer but I'm not blind to that reality. So while we're still talking about what it'll take to get better at MSU, the rest of the SEC most definitely WILL be better in 2009. So I think we can safely say that 2009 will be another long year. I just hope that the heavens open up and drop about $50 mil in Byrne's lap and a voice from above tells him to go and get a real head coach.

2008 was supposed to be our year, and we choked. Get on board the Cohenball Express.

I think alot of peoples point, & I know mine is that I would rather have a new coach that can actually coach "up" the current players, & get 110% out of them, than have the same old regime that appears to be coaching "down" what talent we do have, & is not putting them in a position to realize half of their potential.

I am to the point that I can take another losing season if I can see progress being made, our current & past 4 years offense have shown no progress, on the field. As much **** that gets delivered on this board, I know that there are many that know what I am talking about. We had a winning record last year w/ no offense, & no improvement this year.

I want a winner, not a loser & Croom is a loser. He simply is not a head coach, & I feel bad for him on this, b/c I think it was a dream of his, but facts are facts, & he appears to not be able to help what comes out of his mouth, & he is not a winner, & he will never lead us to being a winning team.

My dream for MSU football would be to go into the Alabama game (if played at the same time every year) w/ the opportunity to seal / take / stay in contention for the west. I think as MSU fans that is a reasonable goal, a high goal, but a reasonable one. I want us to be in the picture in the west until the very end.

Croom is not the man for this. He does not speak / act / coach like a winner. There is no reason to not cut ties today w/ Croom.
