this **** work when one of your co-dc's leaves? We need to know if the sixpack needs to get busy finding a new coach and for what position. I bet nutt just dialed up CJ's number.

to accept the Texas job which is not surprising. Apparanetly Dan has alot of confidence in Wilson and he is a strong recruiter.

if we were to go out and hire a new DC, it'd be the third one in three years. And a not-so-great message to our staff, either.

even though Cheese was already on staff in 2008 prior to promotion. But yes, need stability at DC.

I mean, he's got a good resume for the most part...I doubt we're as bad as when we had Torbush. He could really surprise us you never know.

all the high school coaches that i've talked to that have dealings with our staff love wilson. in fact the entire staffof one of the state champs said that if mullen left we should consider promoting wilson to head coach. take that for what its worth.

But if he does, and right now things aren't looking too great for him to stay, I don't believe Mullen would put Wilson in the DC spot unless he absolutely was 100% certain that he will be the right man for the job. From what I understand by talking to the football players that I know, Wilson is an awesome guy, and the players seem to really like him. <div>
</div><div>Our defense is going to be strong next year. We are losing some key players in Wright, White and McPhee, but look at what is staying out there and look what we potentially have coming in. We are going to be just fine on the defensive side of the ball.</div>
