Probably the least effective genocide in history since Gaza's population rate increase is 2% annually.
Sorry, didn’t realize you had taken a recent census, the last official one was in 2017. I can’t imagine who difficult that was for you in active war zone.

When people blame Israel for everything happening in the Gaza strip remember that Egypt also controls a border crossing and they sure weren't letting people flow out of Gaza and I didn't see much international pressure about that. There is always an angle ...

Yup. Israel has a government, and governments do ****** things always and everywhere, the only question is how ****** and how often, so I have no problem believing that Israel has done bad things. But its wild seeing how shameless people are about holding them to standards they wouldn't hold any other country to. Hell, we molest and harass and reduce protections of civil liberties of our own citizens because of 9/11. If we had a gaza strip like problem between us and Canada we'd bomb it flat, salt the ground, and then bomb Canada just because we didn't like the way they said "eh" while we were bombing the strip. Might invade a country in the middle east also just because we got in our feels.

Those people, both sides, would rather fight than have peace. They view fighting as honorable and the way life should be lived. So it should surprise no one when the deal collapses and the bullets start flying again.

The leaders won't be happy until the other side is eradicated. And if that happens they'll then find ways to split themselves up and fight against that too. Levant gonna levant. That said, any short term periods of acting half right is better than the norm I suppose.

100% It's why I don't really care about someone getting a ceasefire or am mad at them when they eventually break it. It's a stupid thing to care about.

As long as they keep it over there and don't nuke Earth to hell and back then I'd rather ignore the whole middle east and not deal with any of them.

I despise both sides, where’s the non partisan data? I don’t believe non partisan data exists in this day.
readily available. in 2024 population increased 1.9%. You'll find plenty of sources telling you it's declining too, but it's from the usual suspects.

The non-stop diet of online propaganda by Palestine has reached many gullible Americans, including many highly educated university students and employees.

One would think higher education teaches rational critical thinking. It doesn't in many instances. Bias is alive and thriving at an unprecedented rate.

It's never one sides fault. It's always shared fault. Both Israel and Palestine are at fault. And have been for decades. Truth really isn't that exciting.

I've seen that the rate is decreasing but not that the population itself is decreasing.

Of course most people don't know how to comprehend statistics so it wouldn't surprise me if an idiot misrepresented this inappropriately

What did you see when you were over there?
I could ask the same thing about all of the people who say Israel is committing genocide

facts we know

Hamas uses hospitals for planning missions and coordinating attacks

Hamas builds tunnels under civilian infrastructure

Hamas steals AID from people bringing it in and uses it to make money and bargain with the people of Palestine

Israel ships in aid
Israel has helped Palestinians escape who were being killed by Hamas for trying to flee

I could go on and on. It’s very clear one side is way more barbaric than the other.

I'm anti both sides, but I'm certainly not pretending I know what's actually going on. There is zero objective media left. All you hear is propaganda from both sides. I don't trust the media or any government.

100%

I quit trying to figure out what was really three years ago, likely during Covid. I see the headlines and maybe read the article, maybe (maybe) but take it all with a grain of salt. Who the hell knows anymore what is true.

Only if one was completely unfamiliar with the state of higher education.

this is a monumental problem that is only getting worse. Everything is an echo chamber. It’s made Americans hate each other.
All by design. Our overloads want us divided and we are all to happy to hate someone just because they are the opposite of our political leanings. We make it too easy. Plus, we, as a society, all too easily believe whatever fits our narrative.

Not so sure about that. Per an Israeli spokesman, they bragged about the 2 civilian causality (ie women and children) per one Hamas combatant casualty. The Israeli claimed it was “low.” I don’t know how someone can claim a 2:1 civilian to combatant ratio acceptable, let along “low.”

This! If Muslims and Jews want to kill each other, well I just hope both sides have fun. Just don’t get the US involved or make us pay for it.

It is so tiring hearing libs want to pretend both sides are the same, or equally to blame. It's more than obvious the left has gone off the rails. Note the reaction to Charlie Kirk's assassination...prayer vigils, people going back to church for the first time in years.

Do you need a reminder of how the left reacts?
