It looks possible. I guess we will know in a few days. After that game I am not sure anyone can blame them. This offense is terrible and there looks to be no hope coming in the next two years. I have been a Neal fan, but he better come up with something big this season or he is definitely done.
I agree. I was so pumped when WVU hired him. I thought he was gonna take to the next level. I’ve been so disappointed in him this year. I think he has next year to make something happen. I don’t see how though.
I don't see how either. The shine is off and it does not seem like the current players are buying it. Bench players leaving for more playing time; that is what college football has wanted. Starters leaving and people who are extremely important to the program, that is not a good sign. A good sign would have been all of these current players staying and building the team. But alas that does not seem to be happening and actually is in reverse. Brown better hope Nicco wins the job and is the next Pat White or he won't even get a job as a coordinator somewhere.

I don’t know that it will wait that long- I could several key players leaving before the semester starts! That way they can get a start in their new program! That is what is sad about this portal crap- no loyalty to any program!

I hate the transfer portal but I think there should be rules in place before a player can transfer i.e. Coach leaving/fired, etc…
As a former college athletes, and watching how Doege was give. more unwarranted opportunities to succeed, and how we have regressed, transfer is the best option.
Either PAY the players, or you have to allow the portal as is. They don't want to pay them even though billions are being generated from them playing, so therefore they can't stop or restrict player movement anymore.
They are being paid. They play a kids game and get a full ride to school. They get free medical. They get their books free. They get a building that is just theirs. They get food that none of the other students get. Free tutors.
Tell me other students who are getting the perks these guys get. ??? Most students are taking out loans, working extra jobs, parents are taking out loans etc. And they will do something with their lives outside of playing a child's game. And now with this name, Image, likeness crap, they get free vehicles and monies and all kinds of things. I say do away with all athletic scholarships and let them pay their own way to school like everyone else. And quit paying the coaches such high sums of money. They should get paid like every other faculty member at the school, on a scale.
If you want to make it fair, give every student a scholarship from the athletic funds. They already pay athletic fees so these idiots get all this free stuff.

I was agreeing with you. Anyone with a nagging sports or weightlifting injury in their 30s knows how tedious getting an MRI approved can be.

Agree with your last point. Actually would like to see the elimination of scholarships...big money and the current model. However can hardly call a huge drain of talent and a shrinking roster and experience level promising for wvu.
