Not the fact that a good player is committed to Ole Miss but were you excited by the ANNOUNCEMENT? Because the way Yancy framed this for over a week suggested this ANNOUNCMENT would be exciting news. If it is a player everyone knew for months was headed to Oe Miss not such a big deal. If you understand my point it is clear that Yancy is selling ********.

Mississippi. Your coach has made a big deal about signing Mississippi players and I think it's a good strategy from the standpoint of getting recruits to buy into the idea of everyone staying in state. But I'm fine with Nutt's strategy of signing the best players possible without putting any particular emphasis on whether the recruit is in state or out of state.

Now, what I think is stupid as hell, and embarassing, is the OM fan who says that we are cherry picking the best Mississippi players, because we can, because we are the flagship university here, etc. Truth is, OM and MSU have pretty much offered the same in state players, and MSU has won a lot of those battles.
