1) I am fully, completely and 100% aware that we HAVE an elitist attitude. I've heard/seen all of the examples you've listed below. I like it, I participate in it and I'm fine with it. If you want to bash the attitude, swing away.

2) My point is that you said that our elitist attitude was crammed down your throat for the past 50 years. My question to you, is HOW has it been forced upon you? How have you allowed a Bearz fan to FORCE his elitist, snobbish attitude on to you and into your personal and private life? Seems to me, if you didn't like our attitude, you'd do something to reduce your intake. Re-read my original post in the other thread. Did any of those things I suggested happen? Have you been under some kind of personal attack of the elitists snobs of which I'm not aware?

You seem like a very pissed off, angry little man on this message board (which could be completely false, because I don't know you) when it concerns anything from TSUN Bearz. If that's true, it ain't healthy and I'm simply trying to get to the bottom of this alleged elitist attitude attack you've endured.

Ole being labeled "the Harvard of the South" is utterly laughable.

For that matte...You don't like the sign(s) ? Hell, you know where they are. Don't 17'n look at em or turn your head. If you want to compare the "forcing of the elitist attitudes" its a lot easier to not look at a +%!%$@% sign than it is to tune out a bunch of drunk hypocrites.

Check it out at the 10:00 minute mark...

4:00 minute mark too...
Listen, those old farmers there, those old hayseeds down there... they're making some kinda Paul Bunyan folk hero out of him without ever having seen his shot up face. Now, listen, he is sure as hell going to get re-elected if we don't spread some money down there and buy that badge back. Sure, I would like to know where they got him hid out, but we don't know where he's hid. To HELL with what it costs! It's what we're not making down there ever since we lost out on our whorin' and gamblin' enterprises.
Easily translates to:
Listen, those old farmers there, those old hayseeds down there...
they're making some kinda Paul Bryant folk hero out of him without ever
having seen a trip to Atlanta. Now, listen, he is sure as hell going to
win another Egg Bowl if we don't spread some money down there and buy that
trophy back. Sure, I would like to have a coach that can beat him, but
we don't know where one's hid. To HELL with what it costs! It's what
we're not winning down there ever since we lost out on our payforplayin' and heppin' enterprises.
I bet it's even Ol' Arch he's got on the other line...

either you are too young to have lived through any of the Johnny Vaught era (back when the game was 'pure')and you haven't bothered to 'learn' any FB history, in which case I can cut you a little slack, or ...

you are ignorant and there is no help ... period.

Oh boy, those were the days of 'Hotty Toddy' over and over by folks that couldn't find Oxford on a map of lafayette County if you showed them hwy 278.

comprehendthat "cramming it down your throat" is a figure of speech? Now, we can sit here all day long and argue over thesemantics but the botttom line to this is that, by your own admission, you and mostOle Miss fans feel superior to uslowly, illiterate, overall wearing, tobacco chewingplebs. Thanks for making my point. Case closed.

Have I mentioned it?

But since you brought it up, yes. That would be a textbook example of "forcing something down someones throat" and unfortunately for you, it is actually State who is forcing something down someones throats.

And to all the other posters in this thread commenting on my being here all the time, stop talking about Ole Miss and you won't see me very much. The only time I post antagonistic/argumentative things is in defense of my school and because I have some time to kill most days and this is pretty entertaining way to pass the time. Posters like HDD seem to take this stuff far too seriously. If I were busier at work, or ya'll stopped talking about OM all the time, you probably wouldn't see me much at all.
