*Soccer Post* fan atmosphere

read this article about the increase in atmosphere at mls games and that the Union has a cheer :
"We're the best-behaved supporters in the league ... when we win," they sing to the tune of "Coming 'Round the Mountain."
"We're the biggest bunch of bastards when we lose ... if we lose."
Made we wonder if anything like this could ever catch on at msu. You can say what you want about soccer, but IMO the atmosphere even at an MLS game trumps davis/wade. If you watch ten college football games on any given saturday you will hear the same music played and most of the same chants.

It could be done at a college football game with a coordinated student section, andI think we have an administration that would more than willing to listen and help out. Didn't that Drill or whatever it was get 11,000 students or something, so I think enough of them would get on board.

The hard part would be getting the rest of the stadium to go along with it, but it would be possible. Rock Chalk and O-H-I-O are awesome. Far better than Sandstorm ever will be.
