He had been on loan to them from Bolton, played beautifully, and was a very good cheap pickup for me as a backup goalie for my fantasy premier league team this past season.

I'm also wondering when Cesc Fabregas will officially make his move to Barcelona (not to mention wondering about defensive help and what to do about Nasri). Yes, I'm an Arsenal fan.

Great signing, just in time for the Asian tour. Be interesting to see if they up the bid for Downing and if they go get Enrique from Newcastle. Also be interesting to see what they do with Aquilani and a few others.

how many central midfielders do we need? There are six central midfielders capable of starting any given week on the squad now with Gerrard, Henderson, Meireles, Lucas, Aquilani, and now Adam. This is not including Spearing and Shelvey who could do a decent job as subs. I'd suspect that either Meireles and/or Aquilani are on their way out now. Will be interesting to see what formation(s) the Reds will be using next year. What we really need are some wingers and probably a left back as Aurelio is made of glass.
