Anybody watch the Arsenal-Spurs game? What an amazing comeback by Arsenal.

It looked like the Spurs where going to dominate over, what, the first 30 minutes or so. <div>
</div><div>I'm far from a soccer expert. How much does having the home field advantage affect these games? I realize these two particular teams' grounds aren't very far apart, but how much impact does the crowd have?</div>

Great comeback for the Gunners, indeed. That was huge after the real lack of momentum they've had in recent weeks (see "MSU basketball" for comparison).

I turned it on at 1-0 Spurs. Then, shortly after, "Twinkle Toes" Bale takes a dive in the box for a PK to make it 2-0 and I was close to going back to bed. Robin van Persie's equalizer before half was as good as any goal you'll see - and could be the goal of the season for what it meant at the time. At that point, it was like a switch flipped for both sides - Arsenal was going for goal every occasion and Spurs seemed to be ready to go to the bus.

Hope the Gunners can find 5 against Milan - but not counting on it.

I'm an Arsenal fan who's shocked that the Gunners scored five goals against a top three defense. I knew should have kept RVP captain of my fantasy league team instead of Demba Ba-- but I thought Ba would at least score a goal against Wolves...
