that the Champions League Final was in HD. ESPN sucks at a lot and annoys a lot, but they are really stepping up where soccer is concerned. Seeing EPL highlights on SportsCenter awhile back was pretty shocking.

I assume that we are playing Italy over there based on the start time?

The goalies sometimes allowed the ball to pass just so they can watch the homoerotic celebrations.

For years under Bruce Arena and especially Steve Sampson we have played joke friendlies leading up to the World Cup. Now the Confed Cup isn't really a friendly, but the games we'll play there are against top level competition in the same environment and location as the World Cup in 2010.

The Confed Cup will be nice litmus test to see what Bradley has done with the national team thus far on a worldwide level and I personally am looking forward to see how we stack up to Brazil and Italy.
