That's terrible. Glad to hear that his injuries are apparently not life-threatening. I hope he can get back to work one day.

This sucks. It is highly unlikely that he'll ever be able to play at the level he seemed to be reaching again. It sucks for us because it is entertainment. But his career could very well be over.

He is 23 and showed so muc potential. I really hope alcohol wasn't involved in any way.

I think it's pretty much a given that alcohol was involved. And you're right about this really sucking for him. Not only has he lost a friend, but as you say his career could very well be over. In a few years, he may be asking if you want fries with that order instead of making millions.
