In related news, I hope Blockbuster catches hell for this ********. Being that it is soccer related, it may go relatively unnoticed. If this was football or baseball, this would be front page news.

Blockbuster at the front of an anti-American promotion
I was pissed when I first heard about Radio Shack doing it, but it seemed it was just a local store, and once their headquarters heard about it, they pulled the plug. It just seems ridiculous to me that a company would participate in something against the country where they were founded and located. %#%% them.

And I'm really excited about the game Wednesday. I can't wait to whip their asses aGAIN.

Unfortunately, there will probably not be much made of this. I mean, it is soccer after all.

But let a newspaper run an offensive jewelry ad aimed at a college football program in its own state and see if people notice!
Let a bowl game with a national sponsor pick another team over your own and see if anybody wants to boycott that restuarant!
Hell, let a national pizza chain allow its logo to be used on "offensive" t-shirts aimed at an NBA star and see if they feel the pain!

Those are small, local stories. The US vs Mexico is about national representation. Blockbuster is a national chain founded and located within the US and they've chosen to be involved in what is clearly an anti-American marketing scheme. Blockbuster may not be anti-American, but this ploy is.

I hope one of the US players scores and celebrates by taking his jersey off to reveal a Netflix shirt, LOL.
