If Bradley's smart (he's not), he'll start Clint Dempsey at the other forward spot in kind of a hybrid midfield-forward position. Edson Buddle may get a chance. He's been phenomenal in MLS this season, but has never really played at the MNT level before. Most likely, Bradley will stick some stiff like Brian Ching out there though.

I've never seen Charlie Davies do anything good or Brian Ching. Ching sucks and shouldn't play. They should get Frankie Hejduk(spelling?) back on the squad.

I bet you also still think Freddy Adu is going to be a soccer god. With age, Hejduk has become a huge liability on the back line. He had a few decent years where he got by because he could chase anyone down, but those days have past him. To make up for it, he makes ridiculous tackles and gets carded like crazy, something the USMNT does not need anymore of. Davies is one of our top 6 or 7 players. His pace pairs perfectly with Altidore's stregnth and creates huge holes in the opposition's back line. I've never been a huge fan of Ching, but he usually plays ok. He is coming back from a leg injury though.

To fill out the roster with guys who know they have no chance of making it to the 23 man (Findley, Rodgers, Kljestian) and leave Davies off is ridiculous. At least give him a couple extra weeks to see if he can get back. If he goes to camp and doesn't make the 23, then so be it, but give him a chance

Charlie Davies was probably the best striker the US has had since Brian McBride was in his prime. And as much as I like Hejduk, he's 36 years old and way past his prime. If he's playing for us, we're in trouble. At least you're right about Ching though.
