Our pitchers are getting squeezed. Hanging around the zone on every pitch but getting nothing. Meanwhile their pitchers are getting all the close ones. Very frustrating the ump is giving this game to OU.

Announcers have not said a single thing positive about Mississippi State.

Laughing, it's just unprofessional and bad for the sport and average viewers

I hate saying it, but this is what I expected yesterday. We got that one because of an insane effort from our hitters and a bad day in the field for them.

That's probably not happening twice. And this strike zone handicaps us even more.

Is Parker the pitching coach? 5 walks. 2 of them scored and the 5th drove in a run.
No he isn’t. Just goes to show that pitchers have control issues at times - regardless of the sport and level. No pitching coach will ever solve that problem.

Our girls apparently did some big time celebrating last night.
Have to admit yesterday reminded me a lot of the when the women best UConn in the final 4 and when the men made the final 4…good news is there’s still a game to play after this one so hopefully can get things squared away and give them a run for their money

Have to beat the other team, the ump, the crowd and ESPN. Today is an ambush by all 4.

Two truths here
We can for sure win tomorrow
But I have no idea what the strike zone is

Yep, someone said don't look at softball through the lens of baseball, and I agree. Just still have no idea what exactly the strike zone is in SB.

I can’t agree more with the strike zone comments. Yesterday and today I keep doing double takes after calls. It’s mystifying.

I guarantee that if they applied ABS it would embarrass that ump. Even if he's equally tight for all pitchers (he's not) it confers a huge advantage to OU with their hitting and penalizes our great pitchers.

We never had much chance, but a ridiculously tight zone makes it basically nil.

Haha! I was thinking the whole time how funny it would be to have ABS going for every pitch. If the home plate ump wants to stand there and look totally incompetent/bias he’s free to do so. It sure would be a big improvement to the sport in my view.

Giving our pitchers a 6 inch strike zone vs these hitters gives us no chance.
