Softball Needs YOU for Critical 3-Game Series At Home This Weekend

Hey guys,

Just wanted to invite each and every one of you to the MSU Softball Stadium this weekend for a critical three-game series vs. South Carolina. MSU is 25th in the latest RPI with the ninth-toughest strength of schedule. If we win out, there's an outside chance at hosting a regional. There are tons of giveaways, and admission is free, so it's a cheap way to entertain the family on a weekend. We play at 6 p.m. tonight, 1 p.m. tomorrow and 1 p.m. Sunday. We will also announce the baseball score every inning to keep you informed of our Diamond Dawgs in Nashville.

Kyle, you're doing a hell of a job promoting the softball team these days. I have never been one to keep up with women's sports too much, but I honestly check twitter on the weekends to see how this team is doing occasionally. Apparently the new coach has a lot of momentum and there seems to be a gaining interest in the team. Nice work.

Would be nice if Baseball AND softball hosted Regionals this year.

This is absolutely a huge weekend

these girls need your support! Making it to lexington is going to be a huge task for this team, they need to win all 3 against struggling Carolina.

It makes no sense for a family in Starkville who has kids, not to go to these games.
The players coaches and media relations people involved do a great job welcoming you to the field.
After each victory win or lose, they stay and thank all the fans for coming out and supporting them.
