I watched the whole game. Great comeback after being down 4-0. Two huge hits....the triple and HR, both with bases loaded. And our closer did a great job. Super start to a long SEC season.

Softball is the one sport that he could keep pulling from OK and be just fine.
You'd want to lose the best softball coach we've ever had? And I hate to break it on some folks, Selmon ain't doing a bad job either.
No. But if that's what it takes to get rid of Selmon, it's a tradeoff worth making.
How about Chaffin (our ace)! Kid had cancer this summer and surgery to remove it and is really throwing the **** out of!
She was the MVP of this series. She bailed the team out of multiple jams and closed the door whenever Auburn was getting some momentum.
I was a little shaky on this team after the Jax State and NW State losses (and a couple of close wins against low level teams), but the team I watched this weekend could make some noise. I’m not saying they’re gonna win the SEC or anything, but they could make a Super.
Of course, now that I’ve said that, they’ll get hammered by MTSU this week.
We've had problems with focus in the past and it got us vs Jac St and NW too. We'll see if this team can overcome that. They've been working hard to eliminate some of that.
So, turns out I was right about the MTSU game. 2 days after completing the sweep against Auburn, State loses 3-2 to MTSU (10-15).

100% on the coaching staff for pulling a pitcher who was rolling for two kids that can't play at this level. Got to value winning more. If that's a 5 or 6 run game, sure. But it was a two run game. Just can't do that. Plus, the winning run was out at home and the ump didn't overturn it.

I thought she was out too, but it was really close. Marron shouldn’t have been pitching at that point. Once she had two on base, Chaffin should have come in. They waited one batter too late.
Even a good staff 17s up sometimes and that was today. They knew we'd be flat and you can't let a win get away.
