Welp, that probably closes the door on hosting a regional. Beating a possible national seed and playing a for sure national seed close would have been a resume booster. Oh well, maybe they’ll end up somewhere drivable for me.

I don't think it's the format's fault when we lose to the #9 seed while they beat the #7 seed.

Auburn was a weak team and not the 7 seed and AL got an easy win to give them a bump. LSU was preseason top 5.

Alabama, the 10 seed played Auburn the 15 seed. That's a terrible format. You just have to play an extra game if you win. We get the conference champs if we win. It's a joke of a format.

If true, that's an unbalanced schedule issue which the SEC has a major problem with in all sports. It's not a tournament format issue. We should benefit in baseball from the weakest SEC schedule in the conference and get a higher seed than we really deserve.

Conference tournaments are overrated. Eliminate the SEC Tournament and play an additional week or two of conference games.

As was mentioned in an interview recently, the goal of the team is to have fun.
