Yea, I know ESPN loves to highlight the Croom story because of the social breakthrough of an SEC school hiring a black HC but it turned out to be a rather bad chapter in the history of MSU football on the field (minus one Liberty Bowl season), so I too am ready to move forward and leave it be.

Oh ok. Yeah, ESPN has run that episode of "Storied" dozens of times over the last couple years. SPOILERS!!! It starts out ok, then ends with us looking like we gave him a raw deal by cutting him loose.

I was playing golf in GA years ago. Some UGA fan starts in what a good man he was. I went off about how terrible of a coach he was. I think the UGA fan was sorry he said a word to me.

All I remember of the crxxm era was... Praying the offense didn't turn the ball over. So the defense had good field position to score.
