It’s a real phenomenon. The Oakland guy shot better against UK than he did in the 3 point contest at the Final Four where nobody was guarding him at all.Ah the old familiar "they was makin circus shots" refrain.
You know this is the negative **** that other guy was talking about a few days ago with you. I agree we got room for improvement, but to say we look like dog **** is simply stupid.. I also agree you've been a great and stalwart poster around here a long time. And I respect that you're frustrated that we're not where we used to be what I didn't see continues to fight in the game and some players that get outstanding and some of our best players not so much. Possibly credit to Pope for his halftime adjustments he made. These guys are still learning to play together. This was Williams's first game back. Chicken Madison made 15 threes but they missed 30 and they weren't all wide up and there was plenty of contestant so there was quite a bit of positive to get from this game but definitely room for improving. If that guy has to turn around throw in line drive three we went by 12 and it looks different. We look like dog **** and every good team we play is going to beat the ever living **** out of us. Pope isn’t cutting it.
I see no improvement in this team vs last vs the first year. Every single one of them feels like a mid major all star team. That’s not good enough for Kentucky in my opinion. You know this is the negative **** that other guy was talking about a few days ago with you. Probably start with UL fans using multiple accounts on here. Looking at you Hilljack and your 7 other names. Can we not just ban all users with anon names?
At what point is it acceptable to think they aren’t cutting it by your standard? Why have teams in the past required less time to adjust to “style and each other”? Why do other teams seem to not need this same soft entry into actual gameplay? Did the fans hold back this teams preparation this summer?NDaiye is still in transition to his new role, this offense, and the college game. This team is not only a team still adjusting to style and each other on the court, but is one where players have the potential to grow dramatically from game 1 to conference play. Wilkins, Mason Williams, BH, are all high ceiling guys getting adjusted. Kam never really got a chance last year to hit his stride. He is in that same position now coming off injury. Fans benching Ous are fans with limited patience. But, then, the most vocal on this board never gave this team a chance and some openly root for its failure.
They have one all five games they have played granite. Those teams are cupcakes, except for tech and JMU. We've seen growth and development from Hawthorne, the freshman who just simply took over the last night. I saw growth with our starting guard. Milan is still one of the best shooters in the nation who simply had an off night. But some of the positives are, we only had seven turnovers, we still shot 36% from three with Milan going one for eight. Even though they shot 45 threes and ended up in only 33%, we were 79% from free throws and that one guy that had about 20 free throws for them was honestly getting calls for every time he drove. Seeing Williams come back was great. He's just gonna need some time and watching McBride have a breakout game was fun. They are two and 0 on the season and that's the only fact that matters right now.At what point is it acceptable to think they aren’t cutting it by your standard? I’m going to assume you’re using voice to text. Kind of awesome results lol (graniteThey have one all five games they have played granite. Those teams are cupcakes, except for tech and JMU. Lol yes I use voice text and do end up making a lot of typos. I didn't think I made lots of excuses, though just pointed out the one guy was getting the Shea Alexander treatment. That's a fact.I’m going to assume you’re using voice to text. Kind of awesome results lol (granite). Lots of excuses though. Tuesday should tell us a lot.
All good man. I'm not here to fight with fans. We'll let them play out and see where the chips fall.Lol yes I use voice text and do end up making a lot of typos. I didn't think I made lots of excuses, though just pointed out the one guy was getting the Shea Alexander treatment. That's a fact.

That's complete nonsense. And I hear the "circus shots" silliness several times a year. Like they're hitting half court hook shotsNot circus shots but difficult shots they won't hit 8 or 9 times out of 10. You haven't been a UK fan very long if you have noticed everything I said over the last 26 or 27 years.
Missouri is worlds ahead of SLU in talent. The Billikens have nothing comparable to Mitchell or Crowe. Shertz is that much better than GatesSo Mark Mitchell couldn't save them?

Sorry but I don’t post enough to care about other accountsProbably start with UL fans using multiple accounts on here. Looking at you Hilljack and your 7 other names.
Sure, bud. Even by your logic, it's the 2nd game of the season, no need to panic or give up on the team just yet. Tuesday will tell us a lot more about the team than last night did.
Could be that cult following known as UL trollsSorry but I don’t post enough to care about other accounts
Not understanding at all why anybody chooses to engage with obvious sh** stirrers. Provoking a reaction is their raison d’etre. Don’t feed them. They’ll either die of starvation or scurry back to their dung heap in the night. Same suspects, possibly different names, will be ready with the provocation tonight right after kickoff as soon as the Cats encounter any adversity.
Late in the game he didn’t get touched and they called Milan for a foul. That’s when Alex flipped the ball to the other ref in disgustLol yes I use voice text and do end up making a lot of typos. What teams? Cal’s teams? No. Those teams that had high upside demonstrated that what happens in November is not necessarily what happens in January. Making excuses to have a lack of patience with a team that has four new starters is an odd takeAt what point is it acceptable to think they aren’t cutting it by your standard? Why have teams in the past required less time to adjust to “style and each other”?
Some do. Some don’t.Why do other teams seem to not need this same soft entry into actual gameplay?
The supportive fans or the d!ck fans that continually cry like newborns? In this instance the answer is neither. Who you are is a choice. Good luck.Did the fans hold back this teams preparation this summer?
JMU is not a no-name team. Their Athletic Department has been doing great things. Do your homework before you post.I'm not going to judge UK harshly for this 9 point win vs. JMU. 15 effing 3 pointers made is ridiculous and I'm not bashing the defense. Yes, some of it is poor defense but Rupp Arena has been a place where good, bad, mediocre, and flat out terrible teams come into and shoot lights out, especially from 3, since the Tubby Smith days. I think it was almighty Sam Houston St. that made EIGHTEEN 3s vs. Coach Cal's first UK team with John Wall, Patrick Patterson, Demarcus Cousins, etc in Rupp Arena. The Crispin Brothers shooting a combined 13-23 from 3 for Penn St. in Rupp Arena. And there's always some no name scrub that averages 5 ppg scoring 20 in Rupp Arena. It's not just in Rupp Arena as shown by WVU only making 3 point field goals for the entire 1st Half vs. UK in the Elite 8. Ole boy for Oakland going the eff off vs. UK in the NCAA Tourney. It's the worst in Rupp Arena though. And 90% of the time, the next game that team plays, they shoot horrible ! The no name scrub that scored 20 vs. UK, scores 4 points his next game. Or the team that made a ton of 3s on 47% 3 point shooting vs. UK shoots 5/27 from 3 their next game. It never fails.
This was just another one of those ******** games where a no name team shot lights out. No matter the defense, the other team still has to make the damn shots and boy, they sure do make em vs. UK. Just through 3 exhibition games and the first two games of the season, I've already seen other teams' players making some very difficult shots, shots they probably wouldn't make 8 or 9 times out of 10. It's annoying as ****.
25 point favorites and never got close.JMU is pretty doggone good. Should win their league and make the dance. And we weren't really threatened
JMU would beat Morehead by 40Louisville just won by 50 points, soon the UK summer discussions will be we made the NCAA tournament and you crazy fans want to fire the coach
