We need somebody to step up and start hitting people. On Offense, there just aren't any Dennis McKinleys or Tommy Watsons or Michael Fairs. When's the last time we had a late hit called on the Defense?It needsan Ashley Cooper, a Keo Coleman, a Frankie Luster.

We need to make teams fear us again. Damn, I miss those days. We lost our share, but other teams (and their fans) dreaded playing us.

I think it COULD be Charles Mitchell, Chris White, KJ Wright, or Pernell. On offense it needs to be Hanrahan and Sherrod. I wish someone would have clotheslined Cam Newton on Thurs.

Based on hearing some of the other schools fans talking about playing us, I think we are now considered a "tough" opponent, but we have not taken the next step of "do not want to play you". I get the sense that other schools still expect to beat us, but understand that if they have a bad night, we'll probably win. It's better than- "You're coach and your fans are nice people."

Also, I don't think we have to have late hits to be considered bad ***. We can knock someone out legally.
