There are only two screens that matter... the first one where you choose your number and the one where you choose the house containing your number. Each number from one color is in a different house. In other words, there is one (and only one) number from each original color in each house.

Ok ,but all 3 doors have a different number behind it.

if you pick the number 8 for instance, it's black, so you select black. The next step about picking one of the color blocks is irrelevant. then you pick the house with the number in it. 8 is the only number in the house that was black the others were 14, 17, 20, 25, 28 none of them were black, so it eliminates them (28 wasn't even a choice) so 8 is the only number in the house that was black so it has to be your number. the crystal ball part is irrelevant. the first door selected will automatically have your number regardless of which door you select.

Try it again with the same number, but pick a different door to open first. I bet it's still your number.
