Game of the year in the Lynchburg area IF LCA gets by Millbrook. Would be a monumental matchup. As much as I don't like LCA playing with publics. A part of me hopes they do well, the controversy will bring more attention to football in that area.
Exactly. It's over, it's done, so let's make it a good thing for high school football. The negativity is going to change one darn part of it. As a team that may face them, I tell myself the only way I have to affect privates being in the VHSL is to go out and beat them.
LCA at Salem would be an awesome game. Might set an attendance record. Hopefully, we are still playing, but if not, I will be there.
Kids played hard, made a few mistakes but we just couldn't stop their running attack point blank. They whooped us up front. They didn't punt all night. We were able to move the ball well at times but they got two 4th down stops. I think we punted twice. Lions impressed me, have to be physical in the trenches defensively to stop that running attack. Couple weeks off and then we'll begin offseason weight program, which will be critical.
4A playoffs are pretty intriguing this year, good luck to your Generals.
