Some numbers to ponder....

I compiled 5 year numbers from several coaches who:
(1) "were not fired after 5 years of bad seasons, and look what they built"
(2) were in situations similar to MSU's regarding traditional W/L
(3) were in situations similar to MSU's regarding state of program

Let it be noted that Stoops at Arizona is currently 5-2 this year, well on this way to at least 7-5 and a bowl game. I to remember Arizona being in a bad mess when he arrived.

Also, Leavitt started the program from scratch. His first football office was in a freaking trailer.

Randy Crooms is worse than all of the coaches in category (1) and in the lower half of those in category (2) and (3). I didn't put the number for all coaches at Duke, Vandy, SMU, etc, in the totals because their W/L were really bad. However, not one coach at those places lasted more than 5 years after posting those kind of numbers.

but please....he is a good man and he just needs more time.

I mean really- when other coaches around the conference are telling the media not to fire you and they want you to stay at said school cause you just need more time, they just want you to be successful so you can beat them and help them lose their 2-3 million dollar a year job. They dont possibly have any motive for lying to the media to try and keep your *** there so they can keep beating you year after year....coaches wouldnt do that....

is that against D-1 competition in 2008, we are averaging 11 points per game....11....that is so pathetic and sad...it almost makes me feel sorry for Crooms for being so bad at his job..it takes those 34 points against SeLA to from being the worst 17'ing scoring team in America
