Our DL has the chance to be very good. Josh Robinson is one thick dude. Just looking at some various pictures our roster may be in the best shape as far as depth that it has ever been.

Edit for clarification: the pictures remind you of the players we have more so than a roster. Also shows how players might have changed physically.

Judging how good our DL may or may not be based on pictures? Pictures from day 1 of practice at that.

that seems to be the way a lot of our inhouse evaluations are made.

I can only shake my head, slap my palm on my forehead, and wonder what is next.

so next year we're going to kick *** on the blocks. We're going to score at will down low. I mean the photos don't lie.

When you realize the sec caliber kids we have put together just kind of makes you wooly. To see nikoe and the many players who we know can play. You see a massive Ladarius Perkins and josh Robinson. Denico Autry looks huge. Maybe I should have elaborated more. I know its day one and jersey pics. My statement was based on years of looking at 30 pics of sunbelt quality players. It's just refreshing to see returning good players. That is all. Didn't mean to lead a stalker like thought.

Look at the DL players and honestly tell me you don't think we should have one of the better and deeper lines than we have had in many years. Just referenced the pictures as a point of roster reference not putting a depth chart together.

I will elaborate more next time. I would also say that if we had pictures of our chiseled basketball players we are still going to suck.

You can see a difference. I don't know why people giving you so much grief over noticing the improvemt of the bodies we are putting on the field. Coaches have talked about Clausell I know. Recruiting frames and building bodies is a big part of successful programs.

When LSU walked onto the field last year I said they looked like an NFL team.

I think our DL is going to be the biggest surprise in the SEC this year. They're going to be very good.

..& looked at today's practice pictures.

Our DB's appear too skinny to me.

But I'm not going to base any win/loss predictions on it.

I'll take it another step. I am by no means saying this guy will be as good, but if you look at the size and weight of Nick James and Ndamukong Suh you will see some similarities. Furthermore, if you look at the pictures of both guys you will see more similarities. Call me stupid, but Nick James may be an absolute beast waiting to happen. Does he have the mean streak of Suh?<div>
</div><div>Suh is 6'4" 307</div><div>James is 6'4" 330</div><div>
</div><div>I would guess that after getting in shape with Balis, James could get down closer to Suh's exact measurements. Both have very very similar physics, with Suh just having more maturity in his muscles and body in general. Which should be expected since the he is older.</div><div>
</div><div>Again, call me stupid, but I would guess that if Nick had better HS grades and reputation he may have been a 5 star. Suh was 4 star as well for what its worth.</div>

I think NJB is going to lose a lot of weight. Today during wind sprints, J Banks was running behind NJB literally pushing him in the back to keep him going.

I know a fat guy when I see one (looking in the mirror) and our OL look fat. Sherrod a few years ago didn't have a gut hanging over his belt. All of these guys have guts.

<div>I've noticed that before watching the pros. Some of the best offensive linemen in the whole NFL have bellies hanging over their belts.</div><div>
</div>Here's Sherrod at State, btw.<div>
