The Merritt kid was in on the play where the safety was made. Gabe Moore played. The Moore kid is a large human being and getting him in the rotation for short yardage plays is big for conference play. They played a lot of guys before the game got out of hand and play didn’t diminish.

I didn’t get much of an Impression of Moore. The kid from Fargo though, he’s going to be a good one. Tough tough defender with a huge motor. RVP is going to have to ratchet it up a notch to play over him. Loved all the bodies we were able to play. Brix and Sledge are on the first XP and FG units on the O line.

Thought Shavers and Merritt looked the best playing together. They really play downhill against the run and isn't afraid to stick your nose in there. He's getting good experience and looks like he's going to be a good one. Defensive line played a lot better in this game but linebackers still needs to improve, if they play hesitant against Michigan Justice Hayes is gone.

This shows the depth of good talent is being increased, last year we were very excited about RVP and we still are but now another guy has come in and might be better than him. Not just talent but coaching and execution. Is better.

We're still soft in the middle. We're going to have to get more bodies in the box and just leave our secondary on islands against Michigan. Their WR are the weakest part of their team, so we just have to take our chances.
Agree with this. Our weakest spots are interior D Line and MLB. I can’t wait to see where we are at against Michigan in those two areas. Rhule has done an excellent job at increasing talent and depth at every other position on our team which was evident last night.
