A big ******* you goes to the couple of guys asking me to "sit my *** down" during one of TN's 3rd down plays in the south redzone. Our school sends out tweets and facebook posts asking folks to NOT sit down and our coach pleads to the crowd before the game to STAND UP and MAKE SOME NOISE.

I'd like to add a big 17 you to 90% of the East side upper deck. I feel like my group and a few others are the only ones attempting to make any noise with the exception of 3rd downs, "find the egg bowl", and bad calls. While we're trying to make some noise on first and second down, everyone turns around and looks at us like we're crazy. We sit at the top, so no one has asked us to sit down.

And add another ******* you to the old Tennessee fan who told me to stop ringing my cowbell and being loud! Really? Guess you were gonna stop all of us ringing them too? Hell, by far one of the rudest fans I've ever encountered and most disrespectful....by far!

Luckily I've had opposing fans in front of me for AU & UT.

I take it as a personal insult if I can't make them stick their fingers in they're ears several times a game.

Scott sent out a tweet last week

Asking our fans to stand and be loud at the games. I guess he doesn't realize that a lot of the old fans don't use twitter. Maybe he should send something out via pony express telling these old farts to get over themselves and thank God that we have the largest scoreboard in the universe that they can watch the game on if they don't want to stand.

Happens to me ALL the freakin time! In particular the LaTech game that went to overtime while this guy's wife in front of me talking about drapes & goat cheese looking at me angrily because I'm being too loud? Arkansas 2010 was another and the thing that gets me worse than anything is its always our fans that I see acting like this. Was in my normal spot in the game and this old man sitting on the row behind me grabs this guy's shirt to pull him down on the huge Bumphis catch on 3rd down in the 4th qtr. It happened right next to me and the old guy says "I've been telling you to sit your *** down all night! Not gonna tell you again!" As he was poking the younger fan in the chest. Meanwhile I'm thinking "dude you better be damned glad you didn't do that **** to me!" I mean wtf is wrong with these people?

Props to south side of Sec. 307 and north side of Sec. 306. We raised H-E-L-L for 4 full qtrs. We were on our feet and hollering the whole game. We had this UT couple that tried to complain early on in the game and we collectivly shouted them down. They left their seats at the half and never returned. That was one of the best atmospheres I've seen at DWS in a long time. Let's keep this up folks. Football at State is fun aGAIN.

I just had a random idea on how to handle the people behind you ask you to please sit down....

Why not double up on the bar b que beans before the next game and if they ask you to sit down, crop dust 'em and they will happily comply and be forced to stand so they can get some fresh air.

I can relate to you on the LaTech game, was sitting in U that game and happened to be the first game my nephew attended. A LaTech fan was just rude the whole game in front of my nephew and his whole family for that matter, he had 2 kids of his own. Well anyway, he was downing us the whole game saying we sucked, this, that, and the other. Well they had happened to just show the long distance play of the week from the week before which was a field goal against LSU....needless to say he says yeah lsu had yall by the balls the whole game. After he said that, I had enough and looked this prick in the eye and said oh LSU had us by the balls huh? Since we just flashed back to last week, why not go back to the meltdown in Ruston when Houston had the 30 point comeback the week before as we played LSU. I said thats getting held by the balls, and I don't appreciate you cussing in front of my nephew much the less your own kids, I told him to set an example for your kids man. Needless to say, he never said another word the rest of the game and all of the state fans around came up and thanked me for saying what I had said.

They're probably people who are bitter because they didn't make the maron band. They don't like football. They're there because they want to see the famous maron band fail. therefore they suck.

We have a mother who holds a her 10 month old baby behind us standing up ringing the hell out of a cowbell, both responsibly and irresponsibly. The baby yelled and cheered through the first half and slept on her shoulder through the second half. She never checked up. This baby will be able to sleep through anything, A+ to her for teaching her kid to be a good fan.

If it is too loud stay at home and watch on tv, there is a good fan somewhere that wants your ticket.

I'll look for him next week. We were on row 11 and my parents were behind us, so I didn't have to deal with it luckily.
