Every week I come out here and just observe. Some State fans are fans contigent upon State winning and doing everything the fan feels is right by them, WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE. You talk about Mullen, Wilson, Hughes, Melvin, Tyler, Whitley, Lawrence, Dline, Offense, coaches! Either get a coaching job and call the plays, suit up and make the plays, find another team who is perfect, or shut up and be true fans and cheer your team on!! Criticizing does nothing but hurt players and makes you look dumb.

www.genespage.com or it may have been bought out again. Scout or Fox. Try it. This is a place for honest discussion, not sugar coated sunshine lucky charms. Give me a third of Wilson's salary, or hell, any of the coaches you mentioned and see what happens when I don't perform up to standard at my job.

LOL! My Pleasure! I love my Dawgs, and I just feel like everyone needs to lighten up and quit ranting and raving and going on and on about something that they can not change!!! Of course I get upset about a loss, but then it's "on to the next!" Maybe these dudes should just fix our problem and apply for coaching positions! Yep! That'll fix everything...lol! #HAILSTATE

While being a newb doesn't excuse from being abused, I'm gonna cut a little slac

This board was founded in April of 2003 in response to posts like this on Gene's Page. We were tired of being corrected and harassed because it was the company thing to do. Mutt was actually confronted at a game in 03 (I blv) and told "your negative posts are bringing down the team" Really? While none of us are coaches (asides from the one's who self-identify), we're all smart enough to know good, mediocre, and def bad football. We have gotten our share of mediocre and bad recently. The old saw, I might not be a 5 star chef, but I know when my food sucks is applicable here.

MSU coaches are nicely paid (for our poor state) and we expect them to raise the bar from year to year. What has happened w/winning is the expectations for more winning and beginning to compete and beat teams that have owned us for years. I say we've even regressed vs last season. Now to your post about fair weather fans, most of us has endured years of losing. We have paid lots of $, drove 1000's of miles, and yelled for the football equivalent of steaming pile of dog excrement. We have the right to ***** when our coaches talk smack and follow up by laying a proverbial egg on the field. That won't do now! MSU fans (most of us) expect a heck of alot more than in the past. What you should do is post less and read more and get feel how the board operates. This is not a place for the thin-skinned and Gene's Page bleeding hearts. I've had my balls busted many times and have done my share of it too. The worst thing you could have said is these ppl on here are fair-weather fans, when we've put up with: late Jackie, and Sly Croom.

I agree partially. I too am a faithful fan who has driven 1000s of miles to support MSU. I too have donated tons, paid lots of $, and dealt with foolishness. No, that is not the worst thing I could have said. I need you to cut me no slac bc just as you all voice your OPINIONS, I voice mine as well and call it like I see it. SOME are fair-weather fans! THAT'S MY OPINION! #HAILSTATE

Perform up to standard? What standard? You don't know anything about football, do you? Don't feel bad because you are just one of the many babbling idiots on this board who have NO CLUE whether any of our coaches are performing up to "standard" or not. You, like most of these other idiots, have no clue how to improve their performance or whether your simple fixes like "play man coverage and not zone" would work. If you did, you would be coaching and beating Alabama, A&M and LSU. But, you're not. Very few other real coaches are beating those teams either. So, it just might not be that easy.

And, y'all need to quit this "I don't make their money, so I can criticize" rationale. It makes you look dumb. Which you are. That's why you're broke and don't make their money. Because you don't know **** and can't do ****. Maybe if you got to the point where you did make their money, you would see that a person could perform to the best of their ability and things still not work out they way they intended. Things not working out does not mean a person is not performing to "standard". Broke *** idiot.

All logic goes out the window I guess...

Things not working out does not mean a person is not performing to "standard". Broke *** idiot.

If a coach has a ****** game plan, player (s) miss a block or drops a pass it means that they are not performing up to standard and should be held accountable. If there is no accountability then "things" go to ****. Whether you are a garbage man or a neurosurgeon, everyone has to be held accountable. I think you are missing the point, when standards are raised then we have to expect more, otherwise you will get less. In short, Coach Mullen, Wilson and the damn towel boy better get their **** together, and we must win these last two games or they have failed in my opinion. Even though I predicted 6-6, I still expect more.

Msudawg4life there is absolutely NO reasoning with dumbasses like Bogey. This is the same idiot who said Auburn was "far more talented" than us. You people need to pick up a 17ing book and get a damn clue on what ACTUALLY goes on in the game. Because you obviously don't have jack **** of a clue....especially Bogey. And I have donated more than money to this program but I actually KNOW how hard it is to be change culture even one without balls like this. Some of you can't even seriously call yourselves fans at all. I'm in with the guy that posted this thread.

Your man-crush on me is sickening...

plus you say that you are a coach, and I hope that your players don't have listen to all your ******** like the rest of us. If so, they are probably under performing like our defense.
