Some of you hint our education failures are related to teacher's unions

Most of the children discussed are black children from the inter-cities. The moral and ethical practices in these families are non existent

And tell us my friend, what "morals" do your friends on the Left suggest these Black kids should be following to make them able to learn in your Government run schools?

Marriage? End sexual promiscuity and stop having so many out of wedlock Babies? Maybe you'd prefer them to even stop killing little Black Babies in Abortion Mills before they're even born?

Go to Church, Pray in your Public schools? Read their Bibles during recess? Learn what a really "moral" Family looks like... maybe a Tyrone and a Skeeter/ Two strong Black Males Married and raising Black kids in a Homo sexually promiscuous Loving and tolerant environment that teaches Black kids all White people especially heterosexual Males & Christians are Evil?

Which morals do you favor them living under since you so eloquently suggested a lack of them is the reason Public schools aren't getting the job of educating these poor kids done and it's because they come from broken homes with no "morals".

You said it. So educate us?

Oh it's a given, every conservative is a racist, we got it.
That's a old "go to" for the right now...find something different please. I think you might have just revealed something about yourself there HEEL. Personally, I think government assistance programs should benefit those in need for a TEMPORARY period until they find the means to care for themselves and their families. If that TEMPORARY time period begins to reflect a permanent attitude from the receiver, than the case worker applies pressure through various options (relocation, training, education, etc) depending on the reciever's past history and abilities. If the receiver does not choose to attempt an option provided by a set date....the benefit is cut. Race has nothing to do with any of it....at least for me.

You are pathetic.........your ranks are filled with "racist bigots".......The difference is yours are also known to be class A hypocrites as well.
And do you really think the left is FILLED with racist bigots? What's your criteria for identifying a racist?

All of this racist talk and accusations gets tiresome ... especially when it gets interjected into any and every conversation.

Lack of hope is the biggest issue.

How is that measured? Lack of "hope". Obama came in promising more of it "hope" and "change".

Why do we still have a lack of hope after 8 years? What changed?

I don't understand what people don't understand about this.

I mentioned before they had a career day at my son's school. The careers represented were coal mining, firefighter and nurse (something else too, don't remember what), meaning only what was available in THAT COUNTY. I found it troublesome. No talk about careers in engineering, finance, art, etc. Totally provincial mindset.

Now, imagine "career day" in an inner city when they are constantly surrounded by nothing but poverty and despair.

People's tolerance level and patience. They expected good things to happen, but the standard of living didn't change.

Of course there's all the jokes about baby daddies and the like, but black families stick together just as often as white, if not more.

One difference I do see between people in urban areas compared to suburban, those in urban areas where their emotions on their sleeve. It's a different mindset is all.
