1. This whole "coaching through the Outback Bowl" thing really throws a monkey wrench in things. How is that going to work? IF Mullen is their guy, does that mean he stays through the Gator and we basically have a lame duck for a month? You know they will want to name a new coach quickly...it will be interesting to see how that works.<div>
</div><div>2. We will not hire another Croom. As I said in another thread, thanks to Mullen things have changed a lot in the last 2 years.</div><div>
</div><div>3. I think IF Mullen leaves he will be a big salesman for our vacancy. I think he will help us with any potential candidates if we need some extra persuasion. </div><div>
</div><div>4. IF Mullen leaves, I would make calls to Patterson and Peterson, maybe have a talk with Malzahn, but I think barring some really big hire I would be very happy with Diaz at HC and Hudspeth at Asst. HC/OC - but really only that combo. Diaz isnt staying if he isn't the HC. I also wouldn't be crazy about just Diaz and no Hud - it will be hard to lure an OC with his experience to coach under an unproven Diaz. </div>
