Nerves took over at the end there, thankfully they get it done. USA takes the gold!!! Toughest draw and they get it done. Pop and company overcome the naysayers. Durant was terrific throughout these Olympic games.

Not a Draymond fan at all. Haven’t even watched one game of the Olympics. Did read an article that pop just let the players be themselves and that’s what turned their play around.
Only game I caught was the gold medal game. It’s tough to convince me that KD isn’t the best player in the world, with all respect given to what Giannis did.
I agree . I love watching team USA play just didn’t have the time this go around .
Durant will be back in 2024 great all around effort .
The players really stepped up and played good defense and Durant was the leader. Nice to see Tatum have a good game.
I watched the replay. Durant had 26 with 16:30 remaining. He was 1 of 2 at the line with 14:50 remaining. Then France shut him down. Made 2 FT with 8 seconds remaining. Gobert could have scored 70 points if he had that mentality. Instead, he was 5 of 5. Gobert averages 16 in the NBA shooting 67 %.
