Go to twitter. com and then sign up and follow kyle/whoever you want. When there is an update they will send it through twitter and it will come in as a text message as long as you ask for updates via phone.

Sign up to get a Twitter name. You are able to update "what you are doing" in a maximum of 140 characters. You can "follow" friends and have them follow you. So you'll get updates on what they're doing. And you can either go to your twitter page (twitter.com/yourname) to read them, or get certain ones sent to your phone by txt message. Or you can download something like Twhirl or Tweetdeck and have it all right there on your computer. And there are applications for your iPhone and all as well.
