Somebody screwed the pooch giving McCorvey a raise.

I think Sly getting a raise was pre-mature too. He's the head coach & he has'nt prven to anybody that even he knows Jack-Schitt about creating a competitive SEC championship type offense. He will never be a SEC year after year competitive coach, ever.His loyalty to Willie McCorvey has screwd our offensive production for 5 years now & that's enough evidense there to show that we'll only at best be mediocre or less under his helm. Sly & McCorvey need to be put in the history books as soon as frikkin possible.

<font size="2">Yeah it was premature. He was 17-30 coming into this season. And our solution was to up his pay to 1.7 million dollars. For $%#s sake, that might be the dumbest thing we have ever done. We had a top 10 team trying to hand us the game on our home field, and our offense had their head so far up their *** they couldn't see the light of day. Alongside the SEC Coach of the Year trophy, Sly can add losses to Maine, Tulane, UAB, La Tech, and now this debacle. 3-2. We scored two points. Two.</font></p>

<font size="2">As for McCorvey, we might not score a touchdown against a D-1 football program this month. We better score at Ga Tech, because our cluster *$## of a scheme/staff will not be able to cross midfield at Red Stick. At this point, I would settle for Helen Keller over McCorvey. We had 116 total yards. We were 0-14 on 3rd down and 0-3 on 4th down. Talk about efficiency. But hey, at least were consistent. Consistency, finishing in the hundreds for 5 consecutive years. We are becoming the Syracuse of the South and the Duke of the SEC if we are not already. And why in the hell do you run a 5 yard route on 3rd and 10?</font></p>

he has 3 years left on his current contract.....thank god MS limits contracts to 4 years at any one time....otherwise croom could have likely gotten a nice extension
