Have you guys heard them comment about the possibility of getting Newton especially some of the kids from the Atlanta area who possibly know him? I apologize for the constant of people mentioning Newton, but I thought I mix it up a bit from all the band threads.

I met a guy at the Griffin High School game who stopped to talk to me the other night b/c I was wearing an MSU sweatshirt. Told me his uncle is Glen Young and that he goes to Vegas every so often to the games. I'll see him again this Friday night as Griffin is hosting round 2 of the playoffs. I'll ask him if he has any inside scoop. Also, if Griffin wins their next 2 games and Sandy Creek does the same, they will play each other in the "Final 4" of the 4A playoffs. Sandy Creek's star player is MSU RB commit Rajion Neal. Griffin's defense and team speed are the reason they are still undefeated so far. If they meet up, Griffin's D should be a big test for Neal's running ability.
