David Johnson predicted every single 2015 top 10 player in Mississippi to Ole Miss at some point in this cycle. They visit Oxford -- he marks them as an OM lock and sometimes they don't even have to visit.

David Johnson's kid is a 17ing OM commit for the 2016 class. Calling him a homer would be severely understating it.

So what is the story on Lewis? I know that him an Farrod Green are good friends and Green is on him hard. How do feel this plays out? I know OM will come hard with hands outs and white girls mouths open but do you think we still have the best chance?

Leo is just playing the field right now and enjoying his time as being a top uncommitted recruit and why wouldn't he? That being said, all of our commits that are friends with Leo are adamant that he will be a Bulldog. As long as Collins and Mullen are here next year, I feel good about it.

Leo will enjoy the process and what schools have to offer, but at the end of the day, Leo appears to have mad respect for Collins and what he has done with McKinney and MSU's linebackers. He will take visits and have a great time, but when it comes down to where he will play football, he will make the decision that is in the best interest of his NFL career.

I don't think Leo even knows where he is going yet. It will be a battle for him

and all our top recruits they always make a run at all our best recruits each year. Things got crazy with Aeris Williams last year and this year will be no different with several of our recruits. They simply love flipping our guys and anyone else's for that matter.

Leo better hit the books while he is having all this fun too.

Apparently Williams got a little tired of it after signing day got close enough. Not sure exactly what OM did, but something really pissed their family off.

Let's put it this way. To say they are relentless in their flipping efforts

would be an understatement. I think we could learn a few things but we suck at flipping. Generally we just say ok and move on when a guys commits somewhere else although I will say we did try to get on a couple of their guys late last year with no success. At least Speaks let us in the front door*.

FWIW, I think the AW rumors are waaaayyyy overblown. He was solid all the way through.

I agree he never waivered but the efforts put forth on the last night according

to Deep by the Rebs were quite interesting. It may be overblown but something significant went
on the night before signing day and it was probably the fact that they just wouldn't leave him alone.

I was talking about this a while back. The crystal ball function could be a really cool thing but folks like David Johnson ruin it. When Paul CB's someone, it's worth an eyebrow raise. You know there is at least some meaning when he does it. David CB's someone and it gets no respect.

Correct, when Paul CBs someone, it should raise your eyebrows. Perhaps more than Paul though, you should look at who Coach Demetric Warren CBs players to. I believe he has as much if not more access to the guys than anyone.

Changed his 'ball' from MSU to Ole Miss on OL Matt Womack just a couple of weeks before he committed to LSU. They had more than a few ugly comments directed at Matt and Matt's dad when he posted on their site. Now he may be a regular Nostradamus but he sure looks more like a bearshart cheerleader.

It's like he runs a website dedicated to Middle Age Men (and now Women) following the lives of teenagers. I mean what do you think is going to get more clicks, him CB'g Lewis to MSU? All he has to do is say that Lewis was going to be a Rebel but that dastardly Dan Mullen pulled a trick on the pious Freeze at the last second and stole Leo away.

Same crap every year. He knows his audience well, the same folks who tell you they almost had Chris Jones/Aeries Williams et al are the same ones paying 10$'s a month for him to stroke their egos.

Frankly I don't blame him, I just hate to see our fans getting caught in their spin. Aeris Williams was blasting out tweets, interviews, etc... that he wanted to just be left alone because Freeze was driving him crazy. Talk to any OM homer that follows crooting and they'll say they a. Didn't want him, b. Almost flipped him.

Don't worry about Freeze. He's entering year 3, OM Coaches rarely last past 4. He'd have to really flop this year and not live up to expectation though to stick with that trend. Because you know they are pre-season #18 and surely a dark horse to make it to Atlanta. What could go wrong?

The crystal ball is one of the dumber gimmicks they've come up with lately.

At the same time, the reach around some of you give Paul is pretty dumb too.

If you are going to talk about Paul's accuracy as opposed to David's, you may want to look at who got more correctly in the last full cycle.

Again... the whole crystall ball thing is dumb either way. When these guys get a tip that their team or another team is going to get a commitment, they run change their prediction before the announcement.

And both Paul Jones and David Johnson changed their predictions for Wommack to OM just before he committed to LSU.

I guess it depends how you look at it. If changing your CB to "cloudy" and then to the right school along with everyone else last minute makes you right... This is what I know. David CB's every single decently rated prospect who visits Oxford. All of them. He then goes back in and adjust his pick later. If Paul CB's a kid, it usually means that there is something going on there to watch. I'm not one of Saul's disciples so you won't find me go out of my way to "give him reach-around" as you say. I'm just calling this one like I see it.

Agreed.

DJ CB'd the entire top 10 in MS in the 2015 class to OM at one point or another. In the "final" picks, it looks like he got most of those picks right because he changed them late.
