What is Rick Stansbury's career postseason record - SEC Tourney, NIT and NCAA?

With a couple of exceptions, we have always performed pretty well in the SEC Tournament.

His predecessor was 1-9 in the SECT prior to 1996. Even after winning 3 games in '96, he wound up 4-11 in the SEC Tourney for his career.

I thought Dick the Cheerleader Banger never ever lost a game, and was a good X's and O's guy and let Stans recruit. You've gotta be wrong

I believe I saw that his SEC tournament record was 12-9 (not sure if this was before this tournament started or as of yesterday).

He's 4-5 in the NCAA tournament and 6-3 in the NIT.

Either way, that's pretty good, considering Williams only won 4 in his 12 years at State (3 of those in one tournament).

I bring this up, because the Stans detractors constantly bring up his lack of postseason success. I get that the NCAA tournament is the measuring stick. But, you cannot discount his success in other postseason tournaments.

a Stans supporter (I do critique/***** at times) and unless he takes MSU down for an extended period I would not support his removal. But.......... Richard Williams took a dismal, dismal, dismal program and produced a final four team (hell, should have won the whole thing) and built a solid foundation making his SEC tournament record irrelevant. Richard just caught that disease that seems to aflict every MSU coach that is here long enough and makes them eventually mentally 17'ed up. Babe, Tyler, Williams, Polk, Sherrill and to be named later.

I am still sick about Tyler's mental melt down. What could have been still makes me pissed off!
