3 of our best pitchers (graveman, ross, and holder) will take the mound today. We lost but we faced their best 3 yesterday. I feel we win today. Just hope we have enough left to win tomorrow

Here is what I've got...

I feel like *** today.

We faced their ace and still had our chances to win the game. Line shots directly at players, no timely hits, top hitters swinging for the fences...etc. Plus...we know the blueprint on how UCLA will beat you...if you make mistakes, they make you pay. If we can cut out the mistakes made in game one, I like our chances tonight. I think we take game two, the championship game is up for grabs.

Maybe the Indians will get caught up in traffic

and not make it to the game tonight and all of our hard hit balls will find a hole.

We won 17 in a row to start the year and 5 in a row up until yesterday. We can win 2. Feel a little better?

Out of all the things mentioned, saying we are the away team tonight gave me the most comfort.

We are back to being the underdog now. We play better when we aren't the favorite.

Since May 12th we are 15-4

3 of those wins came against a team in SC that hosted a regional and went to the Super Regionals, 3 more came against teams ranked in the Top 35 in RPI in our regional that we hosted, 2 came against Virginia, the #6 team in the country on their field in a Super Regional, 2 more came against the #3 team in the country in Oregon State in the CWS. We were bound to lose a game and UCLA is a legit team, but let's quit talking about all of this negative ****. We conquered arguably the toughest path any team had to take to get to the CWS and are now in the finals.

We had a bad night last night and unfortunately it came in game 1 of the CWS series finals. Regroup tonight and play better is all we can hope for. Forget ump strike zones and announcers saying the same **** over and over again. That is behind us. Talk about the game tonight and what we've accomplished to this point.

Our pitching staff can hold this team to 1 or 0 runs.

They had ZERO hits after the fourth inning yesterday. ZERO.

So we've figured out how to pitch to them hopefully. On the other hand we were making better contact the more we saw them. Tonight the tables turn.

If we pick up where we left off, we'll be fine. We started off uptight on the mound and in the batter's box, but we settled in midway through and began hitting and shutting down their batters. If we play like we did from the 4th inning on, we have a really good opportunity to win. The key is getting Frazier, Rea, and Renfroe to loosen up like the rest of the team did. Our three biggest bats were nearly automatic outs last night, because they were pressing.

Boy we suck against nonconf teams with a U C A in their name.

We have a sr leader going on the mound tonight!

Yes indeed! I love the fact we are the away team. I believe the home team has only 2 wins at the CWS. I could be wrong though.

Remember

that one loss to UCA in the Regional...played tight, anemic hitting, unable to capitalize...very similar to last night...

I don't think I need to remind anyone of what happened the next day

Every line drive we hit last night, could drop tonight. And if so, we score 10 runs.

Also, Wes Rea dropped 30+ lbs in the off season*

Oregon State lost first game 3-2 this year and came back and won next two pretty handily.
