4. Mississippi hires consulting firm to search for a new coach.
5. The next day, Nutt resigns from Arkansas.
6. The next day, Nutt is announced as Mississippi's coach.
7. Mississippi pays the consulting firm 10% of the contract price since they didn't use them after all.
If Boone had it worked out with Nutt in advance, why did he hire the consulting firm and why did he sign a contract with them that called for a penalty for early termination?
