I know we went down there and beat them twice in their regional in 07.
If I am remembering correctly, we beat them here in the NIT a few years ago.

And then of course, there's always Burke Masters... Good times.


AA: It was a little concerning what they just did to the Gators.

FSU has already played Florida and trounced them. So a FSU-Florida peach rematch isn't very appealling and it makes us the shoe in. But insert VT and then Florida may get the nod over us because they are Florida.

Florida in the Peach. And regarding VT- a VT/MSU matchup really is perfect for this bowl. On top of that, remember that VT was in the Peach last year, so they may not want to invite them again.

Winner of ACCCG to BCS Loser to Peach right?

In that Scenario, if FSU loses they go to peach and that makes us the shoe in to peach to avoid the FSU-FL rematch. If VT loses, they go peach which then will possibly make FLa "better" pick than us.

But we still need to be VT fans next week just to be safe. Otherwise we may be playing on BET on Christmas Day.

I see where you're getting at, but I just don't see us getting jumped by Florida of all teams.
