Is letting everyone know that he isn't happy with what "they" did to Deville. Said him and Deville were sitting in class today when the news broke that Deville had "left the team". Now he is calling whoever "they" are liars and that Deville didn't have a clue about any of this

We don't even have a head Coach. I'm so damn confused right now.

You don't just withdraw without knowing about it. DeVille may have felt a bit of shame about it, and kept it mostly between himself and the staff.

I don't see why the school would "lie" and say he withdrew. He wouldn't get kicked off mid semester when we don't even have a coach...and why would we take theAPR hit if he actually wanted to stay?

I think Hood is being a little naive and is justbelievinghis friend(not that I wouldn'tdo the same).

Why would you be in class if you are withdrawing from school. So who made the decision to kick him off the team?

Sounds to me like Deville was withdrawn, and didn't necessarily do it himself. Why else would he be in class today? It is far from the first time things like this have been mishandled in the press with our basketball program. Only this time, Stans isn't around to blame. We publicly announced that a freshman has withdrawn from school while he is sitting in class. How do you do that?<div id="isChromeWebToolbarDiv" style="display:none"></div>

Deville has been having problems all season. He had a very hard life as a kid and his high school did a very good job sheltering him. When he got on his on, things went south. I dont mean drugs, he had anxiety problems in a major way. He would come into the coaches office and tell them he had been drafted by the Grizz. He would forget practice and things like that. I wish him the best, but it doesn't surprise me that he is in class after withdrawing.

I mean if he really intends to transfer to JSU next year, wouldn't it benefit him to stay in classes this semester? Has he withdrawn, or does he intend to withdraw?

I have no idea, i'm just asking the question.

Edit to add: I now see the story says he signed papers to withdraw.

Which could easily fall right in line with his medical problems during the season. I hope he can get some help and get his problems figured out, and have success wherever he goes.

How big of a god damn loser do you have to be to out a kids mental health issues? Especially when the kid is someone you have never met and outside of the school you attended have noconnectionswith. Even if you did haveconnectionsto him you should be a decent person and not air it in a public forum.<div>

Sometimes there is just no way to know those things with their high school coach saying something. Usually you can sniff out bad eggs, but mental problems? Hard to say. Those things are tough.

I usually don't think much about you or Coach for the stuff you post, but to make light of this as being part of the 'dumpster fire' is just crass. This kid has major problems, things that are hard to see coming. Do you really think that our guys in the department enjoy letting people know a kid has withdrawn from school?

maybe he did, maybe he didn't. Again, you never know when or how mental issues will manifest. I had a family member go completely insane in less than a year before. No one saw it coming, it just happened.

Says the guy who harassed Sidney on twitter when he fought in Hawaii. I'm just telling the facts. If you can't handle it, go to the Lake.

It's pretty evident at this point he's got some f'ing problems. Nobody wishes any ill will on the kid and we all hope he gets better. Thats the important thing.

I think explaining some of the problem is a helluva lot better than having thousands of people drawing their own conclusions- and going out in public spilling wrong information to other people about him AND the school. We've had people in threads thinking the school did something wrong in all this when it has done nothing but try to help him

You need to stfu and get back to washing the cadillacs for Daddy until he gives you your next chore as "vice-president"
