That actually makes more sense because he wasn't exactly coming at the ball from 2B side. And I know Frost played 3rd but he redeemed himself a lot in our regional when he took the body check from UCA's 1B. But he will always be "Lil Slammin' Sammy" to me.

I think it was 8 innings and yeah I agree also. Let Lindgren get an extra inning or two, didn't think Ross should have been brought in tonight.

the fact that we played like dog **** tonight?
the fact that IF we continue to play like dog **** we will not make a national seed?
the fact that we are playing very average RIGHT NOW?
i didnt say things were turning to **** and we werent going to do anything in the post-season. the fact of the matter is we played really REALLY poorly. everything i have said is 100% correct. how could you possibly spin the result of the first 4 games?
im not saying we are done, so i have no idea where you are reading that, but the undisputed fact is that IF we continue to play like we are, we arent going to win many games.
does that mean i think that we arent going to win many games? no, i have confidence in cohen, in that he will find a way to turn it around.
if we continue to play uninspired .500 baseball, (aka, how we are playing NOW), everything i have said will come to fruition...in no way did i say it will come to fruition, and i have just now expressed how i personally think it will turn around. holy **** people, read the actual words i am typing and try to make sense of them before you jumping to conclusions about what i have said.

Does it dawn on you we went 17-0 before losing our first game last year and we beat some very good teams in that stretch and now we have lost two games to teams we would have beat(in terms of Memphis-did beat)? I'm not calling for firing anybody but the play is not where it needs to be.
to my knowledge NOBODY has said cohen should be fired this season. thats the single dumbest accusation that i have seen on this board since joining. we are 4 games in, but to pretend like we dont have some issues to work on is not the reality of the situation. cohen will squeeze every damn ounce of good baseball out of the players, of that i have no doubt. its just a case of somebody reading one thing and wanting so badly to call somebody out that they lose sight of what was actually said. which is what makes the reaction to my comment of how we are playing very average baseball and how we can kiss the national seed goodbye if we dont turn things around somehow equates me suggesting that we are finished for the season and we should fire cohen. wtf? how does somebody even equate those two statements?
