Sorry if Germans, but on # of 2015 commitments...

Forgive my ignorance, but with the volume of 2015 commitments (31 currently)... I have some questions.

1. Do we have reduced scholarships for 2015?
2. Do we have "backfill" scholarships available?
3. If we do have more commitments than scholarships, do we:
a. Expect some to flip?
b. Expect some to not qualify academically?
c. Pull some commits' offers?

If neither happen and we have more commitments than scholarships on NSD, what happens?

With the numbers, Mullen has publicly said we can sign around 32-33. We had 3 from last years class to not make it to campus to go along with our smalll class, juco early signees, Dear, both of the QBs, and I believe a couple other HS players will be enrolling early. The #s will work. If both QBs enroll early then there is no way we'll have 6 QBs on campus next fall

All of the above except for 1. It always works out. From what I understand 32 seems to be the number right now. Between grades and flips we will lose a 2-3. There are about 5 wildcards we are leaving about 3 spots for on NSD. First 3 of the 5 to sign get to be part of the greatest football dynasty college football has ever seen.

I wouldn't be concerned with the number of commitments, it's more of a question how do we find a roster spot for this many guys. I believe we've got a full 85 man roster or very close too it. It does always manage to work out - but it will be interesting to see how we make room. We currently have no more than 20 seniors (depends on how you classify Dee Arrington and Damien Robinson --- both guys who could possibly return next year due to injuries). Obviously we're going to lose McKinney, and you always have at least 4 or 5 leave or quit. So we can easily enroll 26 or 27... but more than that an I expect it starts to get tricky.

Last year we had about 81 on roster with 10 seniors. We lost 6 or 7 in the off season so we were able to enroll 20 and still have a spot to reward a walkon with a scholarship. Things will work out.
