This is awful, awful news. Prayers are with the family and friends. So very tragic.

A friend's son coached him....

Jay Hughes (OM grad) coached him in baseball and football in the young years.

That's from Jay's mom, my classmate at JCJC a half-century ago.
Her husband was my schoolmate at Collins HS even earlier.
